BikerDown Lifted Up Motorcycle Ministry Want

Approved Representatives.

The Board of Directors has decided that this organization is not a club or a riding membership group, but a Christian ministry that can be represented by any interested person who has a faith in Jesus Christ and knows Him as their Savior. We further prefer that representatives understand Bikers and can empathize with motorcycle accident victims, their circumstances, and their needs. Our By-Laws are available for download below.

We want to officially recognize representatives of BikerDown Lifted Up so, they can present themselves to accident victims, the families of victims, hospital administration, clergy, law enforcement, EMS, other motorcycle organizations, chapters, clubs, and riders of all kinds.

If you wish to become an official Rep of BikerDown Lifted Up, please, download the attachment below (Statement of Faith). Read and sign the statement of faith and follow the instructions to send it to our address. The Board of Directors will review your submission and once approved will provide each Representative with a BikerDownWNC.org email address for communications use, contact cards to provide to others as an introduction, an identification card stating your status as a BikerDown Lifted Up Representative, a Support Patch and guidance on what is expected of a Representative ministering in the name of BikerDown Lifted Up. This status is free for a lifetime after an initial one-time donation to BikerDownWNC equal to the amount of our gifting to a downed-biker (Ask a current member what that amount is currently). You may also be a member on an annual basis for $35 per person or $45 per couple. Annual dues are in January and you will be prorated for any month you join with us after that. There is also an expectation that this ministry is now your ministry and as such, needs to be supported in part by its representatives and other fund raising initiatives. The Board is not expecting 10% in tithes to this ministry, but we would expect that representatives would provide offerings to support 'their' ministry. We also need hands and feet. We need people who have a heart to visit and pray with downed bikers in hospitals and rehabilitation systems. We also understand that Representative status is not the same as a Volunteer and is not for everyone. It is for those who are called to minister to others as a witness of their faith and wish to minister to those who are in hospital or other care after a motorcycle accident.

We pray that this ministry grows in faith and in service. We recognize it will do that only through the power of Jesus Christ. It is He that we serve and it is He that gets the Glory. We invite any Christian that rides, has a love for bikers, and wants to serve the Lord in this type ministry.
